Ford Over is my first full-length book, published by Noemi Press in 2016.

Cut up and aggregate and mashup: made of language drawn from the multilingual chronicles of colonial agents who traveled through the land now known as the state of Texas. At the heart of the book is the mystery of the physical act of crossing a river.

The book was the result of years of seven years of work, not just on the page, but also in performances, collaborative work with musicians, and more.

The Unsettlements: Dad is an artist book, created as part of the exhibition in the citysinging show at Lawndale Art Center. The book is a translation of the work journal I kept over the year in residence in the Artist Studio Program at Lawndale: a book object hand-lettered in pencil that is a translation of the work journal I kept over year: a scrapbook of thinking, notes from studio visits, Youtube videos, fragments of conversations with my dad, Instagram posts, tweets, book covers, organic material, and more. The book builds a larger universe of fragments that exist in parallel to (and in the afterlife of) the object poems and videos in the citysinging exhibition space.
